ITS offers backup services for departmental servers that will reduce technical support staff overhead and operating costs. The service includes full weekly and daily incremental backups, offsite storage in a secure facility, and restoration.

Colocation Area:

ITS offers the physical environment necessary to keep your servers up and running 24x7. The facility provides high speed GigE connections to the internet, remote KVM access, smoke detection and monitored secure access to your servers.

Storage Area Network (SAN):

ITS offers a SAN solution to those departments requiring large amounts of storage or shared storage among servers. This offering requires a close working relationship with ITS in a shared server environment

Managed Firewall:

ITS offers a managed firewall that will not only protect you from the internet but will also protect you from attacks within CalPoly.
